Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki covered all the bases to ensure his unassisted triple play Sunday. Tied at 5 in the seventh inning, Kelly Johnson and Edgar Renteria singled for the Atlanta Braves and were running on a 3-2 pitch when Tulowitzki caught Chipper Jones’ line drive behind second base.

The Colorado Rockies optioned right-hander Ryan Speier to Triple-A Colorado Springs and designated right-hander Bobby Keppel for assignment Sunday. The Rockies also called up right-handers Denny Bautista and Alberto Arias from Colorado Springs. Bautista worked a scoreless 11th to get the win in the Rockies’ 9-7 win over the Atlanta Braves on Sunday.

The Colorado Rockies optioned right-hander Ryan Speier to Triple-A Colorado Springs before Sunday’s game with the Atlanta Braves. The Rockies filled the roster spot by recalling right-hander Denny Bautista from Colorado Springs. Speier was 0-1 with a 15.43 ERA in three relief appearances with Colorado.
