Jason Hirsh outpitched Greg Maddux for the second time this season and the Colorado Rockies beat the San Diego Padres 4-2 Sunday. Hirsh (2-1) went seven innings, giving up two runs and four hits and striking out seven. He also beat Maddux and the Padres on April 6 in San Diego’s home opener. In that game, Hirsh went 6 2-3 innings and had a career-high eight strikeouts.
