Tulowitzki’s slam keeps Rockies postseason hopes alive with 11-1 win over Arizona (AP)
The Colorado Rockies stayed in the hunt for a postseason spot after the Arizona Diamondbacks wrapped up the NL West title before they even took the field. Diamondbacks end Rockies’ 11-game winning streak to clinch playoff spot (AP)
Brandon Webb and the Arizona Diamondbacks clinched a playoff spot and stopped Colorado’s 11-game winning streak with a 4-2 win Friday night that put a crimp in the Rockies’ postseason plans. Arizona’s win combined with the New York Mets’ loss to Florida put Arizona into the playoffs for the first time since 2002.
