Luis Vizcaino and Colorado Rockies agree to $7.5 million, 2-year contract (AP)
The NL champion Colorado Rockies filled a vacancy in their bullpen Friday by agreeing to a $7.5 million, two-year contract with right-hander Luis Vizcaino. Vizcaino could fill the middle-inning void left by the departure of reliever LaTroy Hawkins, who reached a preliminary agreement with the New York Yankees in early December.

Rockies’ 1-year deal with LHP Mark Redman worth $1 million (AP)
Pitcher Mark Redman’s one-year contract with the NL champion Colorado Rockies is worth $1 million and could escalate if he achieves certain incentives. The lefty reached a deal with the Rockies on Wednesday, along with righty Kip Wells, who’s deal is worth $3.1 million with an additional $1.5 million available in performance bonuses.

Rockies agree to 1-year deals with RHP Kip Wells and LHP Mark Redman (AP)
The NL champion Colorado Rockies added two pitchers on Wednesday, agreeing to one-year contracts with right-hander Kip Wells and lefty Mark Redman. The 30-year-old Wells was 7-17 with a 5.70 ERA for the St. Louis Cardinals this season. He is 64-91 in 231 career games with the Chicago White Sox, Pittsburgh, Texas and St.
