First base umpire Brian O’Nora limped off the field in the second inning of Saturday’s Rockies-Cubs with an injury to the back of his left leg. O’Nora had run into right field to make a ruling on a sliding catch by Colorado’s Seth Smith to end the first inning. In the second, on an appeal from home plate umpire James Hoye, O’Nora extended his arms to rule that Colorado’s Jeff Baker did not swing.
